Carlos Jensen Ph.D.- Assistant professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Oregon State University (OSU). Carlos is currently an assistant professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Oregon State University (OSU). He received his BS. degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York (SUNY) Brockport, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005, where he was a member of the Graphics, Visualization and Usability Center (GVU). His areas of research are in Usable Privacy and Security (HCISec). Carlos served as the student advisor for the research project that lead to the Adherial technologies, products and tool sets.

Dr. Jensen provides Adherial with technology vision and management.

 

Dr. Patricia BeckmannA scientist and a venture capitalist, Dr. Beckmann brings an extensive background in early stage companies, Parma and Healthcare. She served in numerous management positions at Immunex Corporation and Amgen and was a co-inventor of Enbrel, Amgen’s arthritis drug and one of the top 10 selling drugs. She is also an investment specialist in the life sciences sector with Vulcan Capital and North West Technology Ventures.

Patricia was named National Inventor of the Year by the Intellectual Property Owners Association in 2001, and has over 50 scientific publications and more than 30 issued US patents. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Uppsula, Sweden.
